Welcome Harry Gardiner

We are delighted to welcome Sunderland U17 striker Harry Gardiner to Yushu Group

Harry had been part of the grassroots system since he was old enough to play the game but had never signed professional academy forms with any club until February this year, at the age of 17, signing a 2.5 year contract with his boyhood club and Category 1 academy Sunderland Football Club.

We knew before meeting Harry after speaking to his previous coaches that not only did he have great technical ability and game understanding, his attitude and application to every challenge was exceptional.

These key attributes have made a good impression on Sunderland from an early stage and Harry has been given both U23 and first team opportunities within a very short period of being at the club.

We very much look forward to supporting Harry and his family during this important and exciting period of his career.
